This is a draft: the final text will follow after review by a lawyer.
This is a translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the Dutch text prevails.
What we store
- The address for which you order a report, and the report itself.
- Your email address, to deliver the report and to let you know if something goes wrong.
- A VAT number if you provide one, for the invoice.
- An error report that you submit yourself.
- With an account: your email address, name, role, company and VAT number as you provide them, an encrypted form of your password (never the password itself), the plots you viewed while signed in and when you last signed in.
- For a free scan: which promo code you used, so that it only works once.
- With the plan: your customer number and subscription number at Stripe, the status of your subscription and the current month. Stripe manages your payment and billing details.
- In a team: who is in it and in what role, the email addresses that have been invited (for seven days), and for each file its status, who is handling it, the note and who changed what. Only the members of the team can see this.
When you search
When you type an address, we look up the street and house number in the address registers of Flanders and Brussels: the public registers of every address. Your IP address is not passed on.
To show addresses near you first, the server looks up in its own list roughly which area your IP address is in. This happens on our own server: your IP address is not sent to anyone else for this.
Cookies
If you sign in, the site sets a cookie that keeps you signed in (for thirty days, or until you sign out). It is strictly necessary for your account and serves no other purpose.
If you choose a language yourself with the language switch, your browser remembers that choice for one year in a cookie called ‘taal’ (Dutch for ‘language’). It contains only the language and serves no other purpose: it stops the site from sending you to your browser’s language on your next visit. If you do not sign in and do not choose a language, you receive no cookies at all.
Visitor statistics
To know which pages are read, Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits to the public pages: without cookies, without storing your IP address and without following you across other sites. Nothing is counted on your report, your account, the preview or when ordering.
What we don’t do
No trackers, no adverts, no third-party cookies. We never see your card details: payment goes through Stripe.
How long
We keep an order and its report for as long as the link is valid (365 days) and after that for as long as accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can view your data, have it corrected or have it erased, insofar as the law allows. Contact: see the About ImSight page.
