What do the permits on a plot tell you?
A pending or recent permit on the plot is a potential obstacle: the opportunity may already have been taken, or a project may already be under way. Permits next door do not count as potential obstacles, but they show what is happening in the street and what the permitting authority has allowed there.
Where they come from
From the Omgevingsloket portal: every application for an environmental permit (omgevingsvergunning) in Flanders since 2018, with the works, the date and the decision. You can view the file itself in the Inzageloket (the public file viewer).
What the Perceelscan shows
For each file, the date, the works and the status, for the plot and for the neighbours, with a link to the file. Applicants’ names are not included in the report.
